First off, thank you so much for all of the sweet comments you all have been leaving. They were so nice to read while we were in the hospital and since we have been home. We are so grateful to Katie for starting this blog for us.
We got home late Saturday night like Katie said. It is so nice to be HOME! We are so grateful to all of the doctors who have been helping us and will continue to help us in the future but there is nothing like being home. We got to come home because there was not much more they could do for us until all the tests come back. The doctors were wonderful and there are so many tests pending on Cal. They are truly dedicated to finding out what is going on with Cal and we are so thankful to them for that. The results should be back in 6 weeks and we will go back down to Houston to talk with the doctors when they come in. Please continue to pray that all the tests come back negative!!!! We truly believe in God's healing and believe that Cal will be healed. We came home on a lot of medicine and vitamins and it seems to be helping. He is still having seizures daily but not as many. We still have a long road ahead of us but with God, family, and friends we will get through this.
Thank you again for all the support! You would be surprised at what posting a comment on a blog can do for someone. Marcus and I love reading the comments from friends and family and even people who don't know us. Please know that we do read them and they are so uplifting! We will keep you all posted.
Love,
Courtney, Marcus, and Baby Cal

PRAISE!!!!
Yesterday I received a text from Courtney that said Cal had two seizures and they were not going to get to home today like the doctors had planned. It was disappointing news, to say the least. I just got a text from Courtney that said that are getting to come home today!!! His levels have not been good the whole time they had been there and this morning they drew more blood and his level were great! Prayers are working...keep them coming!
Marcus, Courtney, and Cal still have a long road ahead of them. God heals...we have to keep believing!
Make sure you grab Cal's button and add it to your page. Thanks!

Pray for a home-coming!!
Cal may get to come home tomorrow. Let's pray that everything works out where that can happen!
They decided not to do the muscle biopsy at this time. They may do it in the future if necessary. Courtney is happy about that decision. Let's also pray that it is never necessary!! The test results will take about two weeks to get back. Keep praying!!
That's all I know for now! I'll keep updating.

Specific Prayer Request
The doctors are sending off some of Cal's bloodwork to Philadelphia to rule out some causes of the seizures and muscle weakness. They are also receiving the muscle biopsy today. Please pray that the results will be promising and answer questions as far as how to continue with treatment.
Courtney sounded great last night and said that Cal was sleeping well. Obviously, he is exhausted from all the poking and prodding.
If we pray for healing in the name of Christ Jesus, and have no doubt, but truly believe it will be done, then it will be so! That is not a promise I am making to you, it is God's Promise.
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
James 5:15-16 (NIV)

Cal Owen Hanna
I am doing this blog for a friend of mine who has a very sick baby. We need the prayers of every Christian soldier!
Cal was brought into this world on March 17, 2009. He has been such a huge blessing for his parents, Marcus and Courtney. He is loved by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In October, Cal started having seizures. His parents have spent countless hours at the hospital with Cal trying to pinpoint the problem.
We are believers in Christ and ask you to get on your knees for baby Cal. Prayer changes things! God is the Ultimate Physician and He can heal. We are claiming that God will heal Cal!
This is a blog to keep you updated on Cal's progress. Please leave comments of encouragement for his family to read. I cannot imagine having to live in their shoes right now.
